PM NeuroPilot is a research project exploring whether AI can help project managers detect and mitigate cognitive biases that contribute to project failure.
Project failure rates have remained stubbornly high despite decades of methodology improvements, tool evolution, and certification programs. We believe the missing piece isn't in the processes—it's in understanding how human cognition interacts with project decision environments.
PM NeuroPilot is designed to be an orchestration layer that sits above existing project management tools, applying cognitive science research to detect patterns that indicate bias activation—and providing timely, contextual interventions before decisions go wrong.
We are not building another PM tool. We're researching whether AI can help humans make better project decisions by instrumenting the decision environment itself.
We make no claims we cannot support. Every capability is clearly marked as validated, in development, or hypothetical.
We pursue grant-funded validation through PMI and NSF SBIR programs. Our work is designed to withstand academic scrutiny.
We commit to publishing results regardless of outcome. If PM NeuroPilot doesn't work as hypothesized, we will say so publicly.

Founder & Principal Researcher
Terry brings extensive project and program management experience across seven industries to PM NeuroPilot. His career spans military logistics operations through enterprise program management, with a consistent focus on applying emerging technology to systematic process problems.
PM NeuroPilot represents a consistent pattern of applying emerging technology to systematic process problems. Terry's AFIT thesis applied bar coding to inventory management challenges. Today, he's applying AI to the cognitive challenges of project decision-making.
"The technology changes. The methodology doesn't: identify the systematic human error, instrument the environment to detect it, and provide timely intervention."
PM NeuroPilot is being developed under TB Orchestration Technologies, LLC, forming January 2026 in North Carolina.

We are pursuing non-dilutive funding through research grants:
This approach ensures our research maintains independence and our commitment to publishing results regardless of outcome.
We're seeking pilot partners to help validate PM NeuroPilot's approach to cognitive bias detection in project management.
